The Philips Respironics 12 Volt DC Power Cable (part no. 1001979) allows you to continue to benefit from your CPAP therapy on the move. It can connect directly to a battery using crocodile clips to allow it to directly power your CPAP machine. This pack also gives you the option of plugging your CPAP machine into a cigarette lighter power socket, such as those found in a car, boat, caravan or some hotel bathrooms instead, to preserve your battery when it isn't necessary to use it.

This cable is compatible with the following Philips Respironics machines:

1. All Respironics M Series Machines
2. Respironics REMstar CPAP/APAP Machines (Not advisable for REMstar BiPAP units, see below)
3. Respironics Synchrony Machines
4. All Sandman Series Machines*
5. All SleepCube Series Machines*
6. GoodKnight 425/425 ST BiPAP Machines*
7. Synchrony BiPAP and BiPAP ST (only when used with the included 7amp fuse)

* - Although this cable is compatible with these machines, we would recommend using the cables produced by your system's manufacturer, to ensure 100% compatibility and make sure your warranty is not affected.

Continue to use your Respironics CPAP system anywhere

This cable gives you the freedom to continue to use your CPAP machine on the move. It's ideal for travelling, as it gives you the option of either using a battery pack or any 12v cigarette lighter socket to power it. It is manufactured by Philips Respironics directly, to ensure 100% compatibility with the machines and ensure your warranty remains intact.

If you do not already have a battery pack, then we can highly recommend the Super CPAP Battery Pack. It is compatible with any CPAP machine, not just Respironics ones, and can last for up to three nights on a single charge. If you did decide to purchase the Super CPAP Battery Pack, you would not need to use the crocodile clips adapter supplied with this cable, as it has a 12v cigarette lighter socket built in. This means you can buy the 12 Volt DC Power Cable by itself to save yourself some money.

Important information for REMstar BiPAP users

This cable can technically be used with the Respironics REMStar BiPAP Auto, BiPAP Auto ST, BiPAP Pro 2 or the BiPAP Plus. However, we do not recommend it. CPAP machines are far less susceptible to damage from fluctuating voltages and so do not require a high level of protection, however BiPAP machines are more complex and require more protection. Using this cable with a REMstar BiPAP machine could potentially damage it and may harm your warranty. If you are using a reliable and stable 12v source then this cable may be fine, however we strongly recommend that you go for the Philips Respironics RP-DC 12V Cable for BiPAP Machines. It is designed specifically for Philips Respironics BiPAP machines to ensure you do not cause any damage to your machine or invalidate your warranty.
