The Philips Respironics 12V DC Power Cable (1001956) allows you to continue to benefit from your CPAP therapy on the move. It simply plugs into a cigarette lighter power socket, such as those found in a car, boat, caravan or some hotel bathrooms to power your Philips Respironics machine. This cable can also be used with the Super CPAP Battery Pack, to give you the freedom of using your Philips Respironics CPAP machine wherever you go.

This cable is compatible with the following Philips Respironics machines:

1. All Respironics M Series Machines
2. Respironics REMstar CPAP/APAP Machines (Not advisable for REMstar BiPAP units, see below)
3. Respironics Synchrony Machines
4. All Sandman Series Machines*
5. All SleepCube Series Machines*
6. GoodKnight 425/425 ST BiPAP Machines*
7. Synchrony BiPAP and BiPAP ST (only when used with the included 7amp fuse)

* - Although this cable is compatible with these machines, we would recommend using the cables produced by your system's manufacturer, to ensure 100% compatibility and make sure your warranty is not affected.

Combine with the Super CPAP Battery Pack to use your CPAP anywhere

This cable gives you the freedom to continue to use your CPAP machine on the move. It's ideal for camping and travelling, as it allows you to use any 12v cigarette lighter socket to power it. If you're going away but may be unable to find a cigarette socket near where you are sleeping, then we recommend using the Super CPAP Battery Pack. This will allow you to use your CPAP machine wherever you are. This cable simply plugs into the battery and gives you many hours of power, usually enough for two nights therapy or more. Although the Super CPAP Battery Pack comes supplied with an adapter for Philips Respironics devices, we recommend using this cable with it also. It provides far better protection than the generic adapter supplied with the battery and is manufactured by Philips Respironics, ensuring 100% compatibility with your machine.

If you are using a standalone 12V battery without a cigarette lighter output, then we recommend using the Philips Respironics 12V Cigarette Lighter and Battery Clips Power Cable Pack. It contains this cable as well as a pair of crocodile clips, allowing you to run your Respironics CPAP System from a normal standalone 12V battery.

Important information for REMstar BiPAP users

This cable can technically be used with the Respironics REMStar BiPAP Auto, BiPAP Auto ST, BiPAP Pro 2 or the BiPAP Plus. However, we do not recommend it. CPAP machines are far less susceptible to damage from fluctuating voltages and so do not require a high level of protection, however BiPAP machines are more complex and require more protection. Using this cable with a REMstar BiPAP machine could potentially damage it and may harm your warranty. If you are using a reliable and stable 12v source then this cable may be fine, however we strongly recommend that you go for the Philips Respironics RP-DC 12V Cable for BiPAP Machines. It is designed specifically for Philips Respironics BiPAP machines to ensure you do not cause any damage to your machine or invalidate your warranty.
