The compact and lightweight design of the Puritan Bennett GoodKnight series make it a great travel option. To really get the most of that portability, you can use a 12V to allow you to use your system almost anywhere, either from a car, caravan, boat with a cigaratte lighter socket, or anywhere when combined with a 12V battery pack.

There are two 12V cables to choose from. The first is a cigarette lighter adapter, allowing it to be plugged in to the cigarette lighter of a car, boat or caravan. It can also be used in conjunction with the Super CPAP Battery Pack for up to three nights of therapy on a single charge. This is thanks to its inbuilt cigarette lighter output, making it a much neater solution than the usual crocodile clips battery method.

If you already have a regular standalone 12V battery, then the second cable is ideal for you. The crocodile clips latch onto the battery and allow you to continue to get the benefits of your CPAP therapy wherever you go. It can also be used to power your machine from your car battery, so you do not necessarily have to have a separate battery pack to power it on your travels.

These cables are only for use with the 420 series of GoodKnight systems; namely the 420G, 420S and the 420E. The 425 BiPAP machine is not compatible with these cables as it has a different power connector. Instead, 425 owners should instead use the Puritan Bennett 12V DC Power Cables for Sandman Series and GoodKnight 425 which features the correct power adapter.
