The integrated heated humidifier option rounds out the Everest CPAP system. Clinical research has shown that CPAP patients tend to be more compliant with the addition of heated humidity. The Everest heated humidifier provides just enough water for one night’s use, and the reservoir is simple to fill and clean.

The battery can be charged in two different ways so you can choose whichever is more convenient for you:

Connect it directly to AC line power (wall current) or a mobile power adapter (like a vehicle cigarette lighter) and allow it to charge until the green indicator lights are lit.
It can be constantly trickle charged as part of the integrated system when plugged into a power source.

An empty battery charges fully in around 5 hours. Four lights at the bottom of the battery pack indicate its current charge so you can monitor how long you need to charge yours to cover a typical night's use. In most cases, a single charge will power the CPAP around 11 hours when set at 10cm H2O. Enabling the humidifier when running from the battery reduces the usage time to approximately 4 hours so it's best to limit humidification or bring multiple batteries with you. Two batteries can be placed inline to extend usage time.

The optional Mobile Power Adapter will run the CPAP with heated humidification and recharge the battery while you're out and about. It plugs straight into any chigarette light so use it with your car, boat, camper or caravan!

Interface Interrupt & Quiet Operation

When the Everest 2 detects that the mask has come off, it will reduce the pressure until it detects a breath. This way, when you have to make a tirp to the bathroom, it won't keep blowing at full force while draining the battery and keeping your partner awake. The Everest is rated at 31 decibels, making it a much more pleasant noise than snoring!

Integrated Heated Humidification

The optional integarted humidifier slots right into the main CPAP unit and optional battery to make one strudy, integrated unit that doesn't progressively take up more space when you add functionality. The humidifier can even be run off the battery though it's unlikely it will cover a whole night for you. The humidifier has 5 settings, controlled via the humidifier button on the side and via the CPAP's LED screen. The humidifier chamber holds 245ml of distilled water. This is enough to last 8 hours at the highest setting.
