Clinical research has shown that CPAP patients tend to be more compliant with the addition of heated humidity. The Everest heated humidifier provides just enough water for one night’s use, and the reservoir is simple to fill and clean.
When combined with the Everest 2 battery pack, the humidifier can be operated from the battery. However, it should be noted that heating water puts a significant energy demand on the battery and will result in the battery lasting just around four hours only. Two batteries can be placed inline to double this to cover a full night's use.
The AEIOMed Everest 2 heated humidifier has 5 temperature settings. A button on the CPAP control the humidifier's heat and the LED screen will display the chosen option (1-5).
The humidifier's water reservoir holds up to 245ml of distilled water which covers an 8 hours night on the maximum temperature setting of 5.
If cold nigths make it hard for you to breathe, if you suffer form nasal congestion or a dry nose or mouth, add a heated humidifier to greatly improve comfort and sleep quality.
