The Respironics M Series REMstar Auto is 60% smaller than its predecessor, and 45% lighter. The new compact design makes it more flexible and portable, without compromising performance. Features such as A-Flex are designed to make therapy even more comfortable, while the backlite LCD screen and buttons make adjustments quick and easy, even in the dark.

Auto-CPAP has several benefits over conventional CPAP therapy. Auto CPAP is able to adjust the level of pressure supplied automatically, to give you the correct level of pressure that you require at any time. The additional sensors allow for more detailed compliance reporting for feedback to your doctor or sleep clinician to ensure you continue to get the most accurate treatment for your condition. Overall, many users have reported that Auto-CPAP is more comfortable and effective.

A-Flex Technology makes exhalation even easier

The M Series REMstar Auto features Respironics' A-Flex Technology. This reduces the pressure supplied to you while you exhale, making exhalation even more comfortable and natural. The Digital Auto-Trak sensors ensure that the A-Flex works as effectively and accurately as possible by monitoring and adjusting to every breath. A-Flex is an advancement of the C-Flex system found on other REMstar systems, and is optimised for Auto-CPAP usage.

Respironics have responded to user feedback of the original REMstars, which were criticized for their size. As a result, the new M Series machines are 62% smaller than the original REMstars, making them among the most compact units available. Combined with a 45% weight reduction, the new, smaller redesign makes them far more portable and versatile.

The reduction in size has not resulted in a compromise in performance - in fact the opposite is true. The M Series REMstar Auto now has 3-position altitude compensation, up to 45 minutes of ramp time from a user adjustable starting pressure and is extremely in quiet operation. It really is a breakthrough in CPAP technology.

Smaller, lighter, even easier to use

To new M Series REMstars now features a backlit LCD screen, to ensure any adjustments can be made as easily as possible. The screen can be hidden by a plastic flap, to prevent to light from disturbing your sleep. The re-profiled, more tactile buttons are also easier to use, and are also backlit to help during the night.

The Auto model in the M Series comes with an Encore Pro SmartCard, allowing for more advanced compliance reporting. The M Series REMstar Auto can be combined with the optional Heated Humidifier for M Series REMstar Systems (sold separately), to further enhance the effectiveness and comfort of your therapy. The humidifier adds moisture to your air supply, preventing your mouth and nasal passages from drying out, and also a result prevent cracked skin, irritation and inflammation. The improved comfort leads to better quality therapy and improved compliance, meaning you get the full benefit of your CPAP therapy.
