BiPAP provides an added dimension to therapy over conventional CPAP systems. With two levels of pressure, one during inhalation and one during exhalation, meaning you can exhale with less resistance, making it easier and more natural. This is particularly beneficial for those with neuromuscular diseases and other conditions that make breathing normally difficult.

Compact, portable and user-friendly

The redesigned, more compact M Series REMstar BiPAP Auto is now one of the most portable BiPAP systems. Weighing just 1kg (2.2lbs) and little bigger than a shoe box, you can now enjoy the benefits of your BiPAP therapy wherever you go. Additional 12V cables (sold separately) mean you can use your BiPAP in a car, caravan or boat with a cigarette lighter socket, or anywhere if used with a 12V battery. The backlit buttons and LCD display make changing settings simple, even during the night. The screen can be hidden by a plastic flap, preventing the light from disturbing your sleep. Little touches like that show how much thought has gone into the design of the M Series, and Respironics' focus on usability.

Bi-Flex Technology takes comfort to a new level

The unique Bi-Flex technology helps ensure the transition between the pressure levels is smooth and natural. Rather than simply switching back and forth between the two pressure, Bi-Flex ensures that the transition is more gradual and natural. The Digital Auto-Trak system features an array of sensors that monitor your breathing patterns to ensure that the Bi-Flex system is operating as effectively and as comfortably as possible.

The M Series REMstar BiPAP Auto comes with an Encore Pro SmartCard, allowing for more advanced compliance reporting. This data can be analysed by your sleep clinic to ensure you are continuing to get the full benefits of your therapy and that is as accurate and effective as possible. Please note that to read the data stored on the card, you will need to purchase both the Encore Pro SmartCard Reader and the Encore Pro 1.8i Software (both sold seperately).

Add a Heated Humidifier for even greater comfort

You can combine your M Series REMstar Pro with the optional Heated Humidifier for M Series REMstar Systems (sold seperately), to further enhance the effectiveness and comfort of your therapy. The humidifier adds moisture to your air supply, preventing your mouth and nasal passages from drying out, and also a result prevent cracked skin, irritation and inflammation. The improved comfort leads to better quality therapy and improved compliance, meaning you get the full benefit of your BiPAP therapy.
