1) Is this battery compatible with my machine?

If your machine can be run off of 12V power, then YES.

2) Can I use it with an inverter?

Technically yes, but the usage time would be dramatically affected and barely last two hours as a result. Therefore we would only recommend using it if your machine can be powered directly from a 12V source.

3) How long will it power my machine for?

The exact figure depends on which machine you are using, how high your pressure settings are and altitude, but most machines will get AT LEAST 10 hours use on a single charge.

4)Can I use my humidifier with the Mini CPAP Battery?

Most humidifiers cannot be powered by 12V, and if they can they will halve the usage time to around 6 hours use – not enough for a whole night. So we would advise either using your humidifier for passive humidification, or not at all.

5) How big is it?

The Mini CPAP Battery fits into the palm of your hand, and weighs just 1kg (2.5lbs), meaning it has a minimal impact on your luggage. Despite its compact size, it rivals battery double its size and weight for usage times.

6) What else do I need?

7) Can I use it on an aeroplane?

Usage in-flight depends on your airline carrier, but is a dry-cell battery with a capacity of 79Wh, which is within the guidelines for most airlines. However, we strongly recommend checking with your airline company in writing in advance just to be sure.

8) How long does it take to charge?

A full charge takes 10 hours. The battery will require a full charge before its first use.

9) Can I charge it from a 12V source such as a car battery?

Not without using an inverter, which could then drain the car battery.

10) How many times can it be recharged?

The Mini CPAP Battery can be recharged between 300 and 500 times in its lifetime.

11) How do I store the Mini CPAP Battery when not in use?

The battery should be stored at around 40% charge, in a dry place with a temperature as low as possible. Being stored while full charged and/or in higher temperatures will significantly impact on the battery's capacity.
