Double gel cushion provides a breakthrough in CPAP design
With its DoubleGel cushion, featuring not one, but two layers of gel, the ResMed Mirage SoftGel offers not just optimum comfort but also a high level of stability which ensures a leak-resistant fit throughout the night. The clear gel layer offers soft touch comfort against the face while the blue layer is thicker, maintaining stability and support for an excellent fit.
ConvertAble - Added Flexibility
ResMed have designed this mask to use the same frame as the Activa LT, allowing you to use either the gel cushions that are supplied with the SoftGel or the silicon cushions of the Activa LT (sold seperately) without having to buy a new frame. CPAP mask frames generally last much longer than the cushions and the ConvertAble design offers you flexibility and choice. You may decide that one type of cushion doesn't suit you, so you can switch to the other for a fraction of the cost of buying a whole new mask, or you can simply switch between the two types as you please.
MicroFit Dial - For Tiny Adjustments
The Mirage SoftGel's dial allows you to make fine adjustments to the overall fit. The forehead pad and cushion can be angled in such a way that it fits snugly on your specific facial contours and helps prevent the straps being tightened too much. This also helps spread the pressure over a wider area to improve comfort, particularly over longer periods.
An improved exhalation port diffuser and durable quick-release clips round off this great nasal CPAP mask by ResMed, one of the leading names in CPAP therapy products. The headgear straps are included. All sizes of the mask are shipped with medium sized headgear, which will fit almost every head size. For the few who find that the medium headgear does not fit then small and large headgears can be ordered separately.
