The classic, proven nasal pillows mask
The ResMed Mirage Swift II is the successor to the popular original Mirage Swift. Its new design is quieter, lighter and more comfortable that its predecessor. The reprofiled nasal pillows are now able to fit a wider range of people, and with all three sizes of pillows included in the pack ResMed have tried to ensure that the Swift II will suit as many users as possible.
The first thing users of the original Mirage Swift will notice is that the new version is considerably quieter – 86% quieter in fact according to ResMed. Air is now directed downwards through a diffuser, at the same angle as the nostrils, to allow exhaled air to disperse more naturally and with minimal resistance.
Quieter, lighter, more customisable
Weighing in at just 75 grams, it is among the lightest CPAP masks around. It also folds up, making packing and transportation easy – there's no need to compromise with a second mask when you travel. Its unobtrusive design means you can read and wear glasses in comfort – your vision and nose are completely free.
The Mirage Swift II's minimal design belies a surprisingly customisable fit. The nasal cushion can rotate, to ensure the pillows are at the optimal angle for your nose and face. The pillow sizes are interchangeable, and all three sizes come included with the mask. The tubing can be connected on either side of the mask, and be directed upwards along the headgear, or downwards like most CPAP masks.
