Product Description
The Philips Respironics Portable 12V DC CPAP Battery allows you to use your CPAP or BiPAP machine anywhere, regardless of its manufacturer. Although made by Philips Respironics, it can be used with any system that can be powered by a 12V source. With up to 20 hours of usage on a single charge, it gives you the freedom to enjoy the benefits of CPAP therapy wherever you go. Simply combine the battery with the appropriate DC cable for your system (sold seperately, see below) and away you go!
The battery is one of the most portable we've seen. Weighing just 14lbs (just over 6kg), it's far lighter than the traditional gel cell, marine-type batteries that are commonly used for CPAP travelling. They tend to weigh around 50 pounds (around 22kg), making this battery far more portable and convenient than a normal 12V battery. It also comes with a handy carrier bag, making it easier to carry and protect.

The Philips Respironics CPAP Battery takes about 10 hours to charge when completely drained, and less if it still has some charge. Multi-coloured status lights mean you know when it requires charging and when it is fully charged. It can be left for six to nine months without use before needing to be recharged. Please ensure you fully charge the battery before putting it into storage to prevent damage.
The battery is a 14.4A hr sealed lead-acid battery. It comes complete with a mains charger. It can only be charged from a mains source.
Please be aware that this battery does not come with any cables or adapters, you will need to purchase the appropriate 12V DC cigarette lighter cable for your CPAP or BiPAP machine. A list of some is below, just add the correct one to your basket along with the battery. If the cable for your particular machine is not listed below, then please phone or email us and we'll try to locate the correct cable for you.
