Introducing the Super CPAP Battery Pack - If you are looking for a universal and portable way to power your CPAP, APAP or BiPAP then look no further! This 266 Wh Lithium-Polymer (not the older, inferior Lithium-Ion) battery pack easily powers your PAP device for three nights. Most modern CPAP machines, such as those made by ResMed, Philips Respironics, DeVilbiss and others have the option of running off of 12V power. If your machine can run off of 12V, then the Super CPAP Battery Pack is the ideal solution for travelling, or simply as a backup.

Handy at home as a back-up during mains power failure and great for camping or travelling to places with unreliable power sources, the Super CPAP Battery Pack comes with a versatile set of accessories and a sturdy carrying bag to give you full peace of mind in those difficult situations. Because the battery has a built-in cigarette lighter socket, it can power many types of appliances such as portable DVD players that require up to 12V.

If you live in an area that is prone to mains power failure just plug both the battery and the machine into the mains and then connect the battery to the machine and leave the battery turned on. In the event that the power should fail the battery will automatically supply power to the machine.

The built-in power meter and test button allow you to monitor the battery's available power at any given moment, giving you ample opportunity to make sure it is charged enough for the night. The charging time is 5 to 8 hours depending on its level of depletion. LED lights will flash to let you know when the battery needs recharging.

Ideal for Travel

Weighing in at just over 4 pounds - 1.9Kgs (2.5Kgs with bag and accessories), this battery offers the best weight and size to power ratio we have come across. Most PAP machines manufacturers offer a cigarette lighter type cord (many of them available here) they will work fine with the Super CPAP Battery Pack. Others may need an additional piece we may be able to help you with.

Heated humidifier plates take up a lot of energy so in general, manufacturers advise against powering a humidifier from 12V DC. It may be possible still and in some cases an inverter may be required (though an inverter will drain power even faster). Please consult the manual of your humidifier about the option of battery power.

The Super CPAP Battery Pack can power most CPAP machines for three nights when running off of 12V power. Consult the manual of your PAP device or contact its manufacturer to see whether you can run it directly off a 12V source or whether you require an inverter. The battery pack comes with a range of connector plugs but it is highly recommended to use the official manufacturer's DC cable where possible. Note that machines that don't run on 12V natively (i.e. those that require an inverter) may not last an entire night on one battery charge. Heated humidifiers will not work on battery power but often can be used cold (see humidifier manual).

The battery's charger requires 100-240VAC 50/60Hz at 1.2A so you can charge the battery in most countries world-wide.

Note that because this battery has a capacity (266 Wh) that exceeds the maximum capacity allowed for in-flight cabin use (105 Wh), airlines will not allow operation of this battery in the aircraft's cabin. You will be able to check it in and use it once arrived at your destination.
