ResMed Aifit N20 - Their ultimate in comfort and performance
The ResMed AirFit N20 Nasal CPAP Mask features the InfinitySeal cushion – which ResMed claim is the most adaptive they have ever designed – along with a soft and flexible frame that includes integrated padding. The result is a mask designed to comfortably move with you and provide a reliable seal throughout the night, regardless of sleep position.
Key ResMed AirFit N20 features:
- InfinitySeal cushion was shown to fit 99% of all faces in internal ResMed studies.
- Quick-release elbow makes it simple to disconnect from the tubing without removing the mask.
- Plush headgear is specifically designed for extra softness and stability.
- Soft and flexible frame sits underneath the eyes and adapts to different facial types, while its integrated padding provides added softness.
- Magnetic headgear clips guide the headgear to the frame quickly and easily.
With ResMed's new AirFit 20 series, their aim was to ensure fitting a broad range of faces has never been easier. That’s because each mask has been designed to fit regardless of facial profile, helping reduce guesswork of mask selection. A recent ResMed internal study, conducted internationally, showing the ResMed AirFit N20 CPAP Mask fitted 99% of patients, they may well have achieved that target. Please ensure you use the sizing gauge in the Downloads section to ensure you get the correct size, and maximise your opportunity to get a comfortable fit from the InfinitySeal cushion.
The headline advancement with the AirFit N20 over previous ResMed nasal CPAP masks is the new InfinitySeal; a cushion that works by inflating towards the face. This balloon-type seal allows the mask to move and adjust as required, rather than be a rigid, defined shape, and can therefore more easily adapt to different facial variables as well as position changes during the night. In addition, the frame also has a degree of flexibility so the entire mask is better able to compensate for movement and adjustments when required.
Full range of AirFit N20 spare parts available
The AirFit N20 has a number of improvements over the previous AirFit N10 when is comes to durability, but no mask lasts forever. It is reassuring to know that every part of the N20 mask can be replaced if and when necessary. You can find replacement parts for the ResMed AirFit N20 CPAP Mask here. Please note that all sizes of the N20 mask come with standard-sized headgear - if you require smaller or larger headgear then this can be ordered here.
AirFit F20 Full Face CPAP Mask also available
Like the sound of the N20 but require a full mask? The ResMed AirFit F20 incoroporates many of the same key design aspects of the AirFit N20, but in a full face format. Even if you are predominantly a nasal CPAP patient, having a full face mask on hand in case you get a cold or similar will allow you to continue to benefit from CPAP therapy. The AirFit F20 would provide a natural backup to your ResMed AirFit N20 in such a circumstance.

Quality Website Information Comfort Ease of Use ValueLove this mask, have tried so many since becoming a CPAP user, works great with my ResMed AirSense 10, don't even know I have the headgear on, I took the time to measure up before purchase, large headgear and small cushion mask works well for me, find it amazing how loose you can have the straps yet maintain an airtight fit, magnet fittings are easy to use, really nothing at this point I can find to fault this mask.(Posted on 19 February 2019)
Best I have used in 7 years Review by dai
Quality Website Information Comfort Ease of Use ValueThis is best mask I have used in 7 years of CPAP. Top quality throughout, including the delivery and advice. Sincere thanks to all.(Posted on 11 December 2018)
If only I could use a Nasal Mask safely. Review by Ian Davis
Quality Website Information Comfort Ease of Use ValueI really wanted this mask to work, it is very comfortable to wear, I tried it also using the ResMed chin strap lying on my bed ion my back and sides for an hour, but unfortunately my mouth opened a few times, so I really wouldn’t feel comfortable using it whilst sleeping at night.(Posted on 5 September 2018)
My problem is I’m on BIPAP with an IPAP pressure of 30 and an EPAP pressure of 10 with a 5 minute ramp, so even though this mask didn’t suit me, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for others.
My main masks I now use are the Dreamwear Full Face and the ResMed F20, which are both excellent.
Good mask - not quiet though Review by Nottingham
Value Quality Website Information Comfort Ease of UseThis is a really good mask - had to try two different cushions to find the perfect fit.(Posted on 31 May 2018)
The headgear is probably the best - keeps the ResMed Chin Restraint (chin strap) in place all night - which is great.
The mask is very noisy - it projects a jet of very loud air (exit holes) towards your bed partner - amplified if the air hits the pillow or your blanket. If this mask were as quiet as the Brevida mask (quietest), or even as the F-20, it would be perfect.
Excellent upgrade from my mirage xl Review by Dougmac
Value Quality Website Information Comfort Ease of UseEasy to put on, the magnetic headgear catches are good. I upgraded from a Mirage mask with no problems.(Posted on 14 May 2018)
Very Comfortable Review by Peter
Ease of Use Value Quality Website Information ComfortInitially scepticle that without the nose bridge support that this would put pressure on my top lip. However, once fitted it was extremely comfortable. The swivel and small flexible hose connection make it less intrusive while wearing. A good buy.(Posted on 28 March 2018)
Beware the size! Review by Jonathan Wickett
Ease of Use Value Quality Website Information ComfortPurchased this mask in the Small size, Had used the cutout guide from the resmed site (which is the same guide they supply in the box with the mask). The actual mask in small for me is a perfect fit over the nose, and is super comfortable, and really easy to use, I hardly noticed it was there. However, BE AWARE that the HEADGEAR will be the same size as the mask you choose. It will have this size printed in the middle blue section of the headgear. So mine is a "S". this headgear is too small for me, and I don't consider my head to be big! But the mask is the right size. This means I have to purchase another size headgear at another £30 plus delivery, putting this mask in the £135 bracket. Having the size insurance does not help, as you can only return the whole mask for either a refund or a bigger mask, which may potentially be to BIG on the nose part. None of this is the fault of Intus, but it could be added to the info on their website now it has been brought too their attention.(Posted on 16 March 2018)
If only this mask were more comfortable! Review by sstead
Ease of Use Value Quality Website Information ComfortIt is a beautifully made mask - easy to put on with magnetic tighteners and microfibre soft cloth inside. However, the bit under the nose bears a lot of the weight of the mask and it felt as if it were cutting into my top lip so i had to keep removing it throughout the night. Also, breathing out was difficult for me.(Posted on 9 February 2018)
Brilliant Review by JC
Ease of Use Value Quality Website Information ComfortThere's an awful lot to like about this mask. The nose seal is comfy, and seals well. The magnetic clips are a great idea, and work well - easy to get the mask on and off without fuss and fiddling around. It is good to have the eyes clear so that you can read if you wear glasses. I like the short length of mini hose before it attaches to the main hose, it is very flexible and makes it easier to move around. And it is well built and very comfy - I forgot its even there after a couple of days. And downsides? One: the 'exit' holes for the air are not as quiet as some. Otherwise, an excellent mask.(Posted on 8 February 2018)
