Look out for the Sizing Gauge link in the Useful Links list on the page of the CPAP mask you are interested in

How to ensure you get the correct sized mask

Getting the right size for your mask is very important - if the mask is too big or too small, it will not fit correctly. This will make the mask uncomfortable and will not seal correctly.

How do you know which size to go for? On almost all of our mask pages, you will find a sizing gauge in the "Useful Links" list on the right hand side of the page, like the example shown on the right. You simply download the gauge, print it out and use that to determine which size you need. It couldn't be easier!

Some masks will come with multiple sizes as standard, making it even easier. For example, the FlexiFit 432 Full Face Mask comes with Small, Medium and Large cushions in the box. Similarly, the FlexiFit 407 Nasal Mask also has the same selection, and all nasal pillows masks come with at least three sizes of pillows to choose from.

Other masks, such as the SleepWeaver Advance, simply come in a one-size-fits-most, which will fit almost all users anyway. One-size-fits-most is absolutely fine for those who would have a small, medium or large mask usually, but those with particularly small or large features and would usually require a petite or extra-large sized mask may need to consider other options.

Another important thing to consider is that just because you are a certain size in one mask, does not necessarily mean you will automatically be the same size in a different one. If you are switching to a different mask, always use the sizing gauge if needs be to ensure you get the correct size.

And finally! If any mask you are interested in does not have a sizing gauge, multiple sizes in the box OR is one-size-fits-most, then contact us first and we can help ensure you get the correct size. Never guess or assume - always err on the side of caution. It isn't worth taking the chance and getting it wrong!
