Guides and Information
Helping you understand OSA and CPAP
Obstructive Sleep Apnoea is a condition as common as diabetes, but the awareness and knowledge of OSA lags far behind the latter. Many people, even those with the condition, do not know what it entails and how the treatment options works.
To that end, Intus are working on creating guides to help people understand their condition and treatment better. Those who are new to CPAP will find these particularly beneficial. We are working on further guides and they will be made available when published.
Further information is available on our site, in the Advice section.
Our extensive CPAP introductory guide, "Setting Up and Settling In", provides you with the essential information you need to get up and running with CPAP. It includes comfort tips, cleaning advice, methods of tracking your progress and improvements, contact details for local patient groups and plenty more besides. Throughout you'll find tips from experienced CPAP users, addressing the more common issues and how they dealt with them.
