The DreamWear Full Face CPAP Mask from Philips Respironics is designed to give full face patients more freedom and comfort than any mask before it. The unique design directs airflow through the frame up to the top of the head. This positioning allows patients to sleep in their preferred sleeping position – whether on their front, side or back – with greater ease. The under-nose design also minimises facial contact – improved comfort and making it easier to seal.
In studies conducted by Philips, patients reported that the DreamWear provided more comfort and provided a better fit than their existing masks. The DreamWear Full Face was being compared to leading masks such as the ResMed AirFit F10 and F20, Fisher & Paykel’s Simplus, and Philips’ own Amara View.
This FitPack comes with all four cushion sizes included, making it ideal for those wanting to try the mask for the first time. You can try all of the sizes to determine which provides the most comfortable and effective fit for your needs.
Key features of the DreamWear Full Face
Soft silicone frame - Light, flexible material designed for comfort – no hard plastic touching your face.
Open field of vision - Wear glasses, read, and watch TV thanks to the under-the-nose design.
Top-of-head tube connection – Allow you to sleep on your front, side or back with freedom.
No red marks on the nasal bridge – Innovative design removes all contact from the most common area of discomfort.
Choice of cushion – the DreamWear Full Face cushion can be swapped out for the Nasal Cushion or Nasal Pillows option instead using the same frame.

- Mask-Fit Insurance
Mask Fit Insurance is available for this mask
If you are considering trying this mask for the first time, you can order in confidence using Mask Fit Insurance.
Mask Fit Insurance costs £14.99 for nasal masks and £19.99 for full face masks, and allows you to return this mask for a refund if unsuitable.
You have 28 days from the dispatch date to assess the mask and notify us that you are unhappy with it for any reason. You can return it and have it refunded (we must receive it back within 7 days of being notified).
The fee for the insurance is non-refundable once the mask is opened, nor are any outgoing postage costs. The mask itself will be refunded in full.
A pre-paid returns label will be included for customers in the UK. We strongly recommend getting a proof of postage (which is free) as returns not received cannot be refunded. For overseas customers, the return postage will need to be arranged by the customer and this cannot be reimbursed.
CPAP masks purchased without insurance cannot be returned/refunded once opened for hygiene reasons, as explained in our returns policy.
Mask Fit Insurance must be ordered at the same time as the mask in question, and cannot be added retroactively.
Intus Healthcare reserve the right not to honour any orders containing multiple masks purchased with Insurance; please instead choose which mask you feel is most suitable and select the size required as per the sizing gauge (if applicable). Should you subsequently determine a different mask or size is required, you can of course return the first and order the other.
If you need any further information, please use the chat function (if available), or contact us.
A: The mask will continue to provide the prescribed therapy. Every other mask on the market operates with one tube running to the cushion and this mask operates in the same way. No increase of pressure or noise will occur.A: From a sound level perspective, the DreamWear Full Face mask is a quiet full face mask. However, since the airflow is located closer to the ears with this design and not routing downward in front of the patient, some people may notice the airflow noise more than a traditional mask. For most patients the experience is quiet and comfortable with the unique design offering more freedom of movement. However, since this is such a different design, it may take some people some time to get use to the difference in the noise. It’s not louder, simply different.A: Always start with the medium frame, which is the size included with the FitPack. If the mask is too small, the frame will sit too close to the eyes. If the mask is too big, it will sit too close to the ears. Please refer to the quick start guide or instructions manual for pictures and a thorough description. In most cases, it will be obvious if a different size frame is needed. However, if there are leaks at night or the mask seems to move too much, a different size frame and/or cushion should be tried. If a different size frame is required, it can be purchased separately.A: If you remove the headgear, cushion and swivel, the frame is essentially one tube. This can be cleaned the same way the short tubing on other masks or the longer CPAP tubing is cleaned. Wash with warm soapy water, it can be rinsed through the swivel connection as well. Set to dry and if there happens to be any remaining moisture in the tube before therapy is started, connecting it to the CPAP with pressure can help to remove this. The mask may also be cleaned in the dishwasher once a week. The non-fabric parts can be washed on the top shelf of the dishwasher and air dried. Please refer to the instructions manual that came with the mask.A: DreamWear Full Face cushions come in four sizes: small, medium, large, and medium-wide. The full face cushion, while covering both the nose and mouth, is sized based on the nasal opening, just like the under-the-nose cushions. The nasal opening is the exact same design and shape as the DreamWear under the nose cushion which means, there is a direct correlation between DreamWear full face and DreamWear under-the-nose sizing – a medium in the full face is a medium in the nasal, etc. However, the DreamWear full face nasal opening is a different design and shape than the Amara View opening and the two masks size differently. Therefore, there is not a direct correlation between DreamWear full face and Amara View.A: The sizing gauge is a guideline to indicate which cushion to start with. However, it is only a guideline and will never be 100% accurate. It is always best to start with the size suggested by the gauge but then fit for comfort if another cushion works better. This is why we recommend the FitPack when trying the DreamWear Full Face for the first time, as all sizes are included to allow you to try them all.A: Some medical devices may be affected by magnetic fields. The magnetic clips in this mask should be kept at least 2 in. (50mm) away from any active medical device with special attention to implanted devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators and cochlear implants. If in doubt, contact your healthcare professional before you use

Comfort Ease of Use Value Quality Website InformationI have been a CPAP user for 18 months. During that time I have used the full face mask supplied with the machine and on the whole found it to be satisfactory. However the one downside with the mask was a loss of seal when moving around in my sleep and, more significantly, severe 'puffyness' under my eyes in the morning.(Posted on 18 June 2019)
After about 9 months I tried an Amara View Full Face mask and could not get a comfortable fit, air loss around my nose being the main factor. I was very pleased to have the benefit of the Intus mask fit insurance and was able to return the mask. I have persevered with my original mask until recently deciding to try the Dreamware Full Face mask. I also purchased the Fit Pack. I find this product to be absolutely perfect for me. Once I had determined the correct size of mask from the Fit Pack I have had no leakage around the nose and some great nights sleep. For a couple of weeks I had a sore nose when awakening in the morning. I found that smearing a little Savlon in the nostrils at night has cured the problem. The mask is very easy to put on and the strapping easy to adjust. I found the hose connection on top of the head a strange concept but, again it is comfortable and why do I care what it looks like if I am asleep! My partner complains of air blowing at her face in the night but she is a very light sleeper and I think this is a problem for her whatever mask I wear. She concedes it is much preferable to my heavy snoring pre-CPAP! The mask appears to be of high quality construction and time will tell how long it will last before needing replacement. All in all I am very pleased with the mask and the service from Intus Healthcare which I have found to be excellent.

Good mask, slightly weird design! Review by Pete
Ease of Use Value Quality Website Information ComfortMask is different to most other face masks I've used. Takes a little bit to get used to but after that is simple to use. Open faced design allows the wearing of glasses which is nice.(Posted on 19 April 2019)
Not as comfortable or as practical as expected. Review by Weegie
Quality Website Information Comfort Ease of Use ValueUncomfortable to wear, even with the correct fitment for your nose and mouth size it remains slightly uncomfortable. There is leakage, sometimes substantial, even though taking all the precautions and remedies for this that are suggested. It is however better than the ones the NHS supply.(Posted on 8 October 2018)
Vastly over-priced for what it is though there are some benefits. Not having the hose on the front of the face is a bonus. There is still a fair amount of air comes from the front vents which prevents sleeping facing my partner and there is also some air leaving vents at the top of the mask where the hose connects - this does not help either.
Most confusing website ever - just make it clear and in plain English and adjust prices accordingly.

Finally a mask that suits Review by SusanneB
Value Quality Website Information Comfort Ease of UseI've tried all the different full face masks and this one is fantastic. The fact that the air doesn't blow into the back of my partner is a huge advantage as I can now cuddle into him without blowing air on his back all night and as a cpap user himself he can return the favour. As a tummy sleeper I can now fall asleep without the hose getting in the way.(Posted on 11 July 2018)
Only problem I have is that medium headgear is standard and would love to see them offering a choice of this as standard. Aside from that one negative, which I've had with all masks I've bought I think it's a fantastic product and would recommend to everyone esp those who struggle with the hose when asleep.
