IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This mask is currently unavailable, please see our alternative full-face CPAP masks.

The DreamWear Full Face CPAP Mask from Philips is designed to give full-face patients more freedom and comfort than any mask before it. The unique design directs airflow through the frame up to the top of the head. This positioning allows patients to sleep in their preferred position– on their front, side or back – with greater ease. The hybrid under-nose cushion design also minimises facial contact – improving comfort and making it easier to seal.

This FitPack includes small, medium, medium-wide and large cushion sizes, so you can find the best fit.

This mask uses magnetic headgear clips that may interfere with implanted medical devices such as pacemakers. A full list of potentially affected devices can be found here. If you need a mask without magnetic clips, browse our range of Magnet-Free CPAP Masks.

Sleep soundly with DreamWear Full Face Mask

The Philips DreamWear Full Face CPAP Mask is designed to provide extra freedom and comfort during therapy. The unique frame design directs airflow through the frame up to the top of the head. This positioning allows you to sleep in your preferred position– on your front, side or back – with greater ease. The hybrid under-nose cushion minimises facial contact – improving comfort and making it easier to keep a secure seal.

In studies conducted by Philips, patients reported that DreamWear provided more comfort and a better fit than their existing masks.

Key comfort features of the DreamWear

Soft silicone frame: The light and flexible frame material is designed to enhance comfort – with no hard plastic touching your face.

Open field of vision: The mask doesn’t have forehead support, which provides an open field of vision. This reduces any feeling of claustrophobia and promotes a more relaxed sleep environment. The under-the-nose cushion design allows you to wear glasses, read, and watch TV before falling asleep.

Top-of-head tube connection: The tube is connected at the top of the head. This eliminates the need for a front-of-face hose connection. The design minimises disruptions during sleep, allowing users to move more freely without interference from the tubing.

360-degree swivel elbow: The DreamWear mask features a 360-degree swivel elbow that allows for greater freedom of movement during sleep. This feature minimises tubing drag and enhances overall comfort, especially for active sleepers.

Soft cushion: The soft cushion reduces the risk of red marks and pressure on the nasal bridge.

Interchangeable frame: The mask is part of the Philips DreamWear range, which all use the same frame. This feature allows you to switch the cushion on your mask with the Nasal Cushion or Nasal Pillows version if you’d like.

Multiple cushion sizes: This FitPack version of the DreamWear Full Face Mask includes all four cushion sizes (small, medium, medium-wide and large). This allows you to test each size to find the most comfortable fit.

Is the DreamWear Full Face mask suitable for you?

The DreamWear Full Face CPAP Mask by Philips Respironics is suitable for a broad range of individuals.

  • Mouth and nose breathers: This mask is designed for individuals who breathe through both their nose and mouth during sleep. The full-face design provides effective therapy regardless of the individual’s breathing pattern.
  • Active sleepers: The minimal contact design and 360-degree swivel elbow make it well-suited for active sleepers who tend to shift positions during the night. The mask’s flexibility allows for greater freedom of movement without compromising the seal or comfort.
  • Those with different facial shapes and sizes: The various cushion options means the DreamWear Full Face Mask is great for different facial shapes and sizes. Users can choose the cushion size that provides the best fit and seal for their specific facial contours.

Mask Fit Insurance is available for this mask

If you are considering trying this mask for the first time, you can order in confidence using Mask Fit Insurance.

Mask Fit Insurance costs £14.99 for nasal masks and £19.99 for full face masks, and allows you to return this mask for a refund if unsuitable.

You have 28 days from the dispatch date to assess the mask and notify us that you are unhappy with it for any reason. You can return it and have it refunded (we must receive it back within 7 days of being notified).

The fee for the insurance is non-refundable once the mask is opened, as are any outgoing postage costs. The mask itself will be refunded in full.

A pre-paid returns label will be included for customers in the UK. We strongly recommend getting a proof of postage (which is free) as returns not received cannot be refunded. For overseas customers, the return postage will need to be arranged by the customer and this cannot be reimbursed.

CPAP masks purchased without insurance cannot be returned/refunded once opened for hygiene reasons, as explained in our returns policy.

Mask Fit Insurance must be ordered at the same time as the mask in question, and cannot be added retroactively.

Intus Healthcare reserve the right not to honour any orders containing multiple masks purchased with Insurance; please instead choose which mask you feel is most suitable and select the size required as per the sizing gauge (if applicable). Should you subsequently determine a different mask or size is required, you can of course return the first and order the other.

If you need any further information, please use the chat function (if available), or contact us.

How do I clean my Philips Dreamwear full face mask?

If you remove the headgear, cushion and swivel, the frame is essentially one tube. This can be cleaned the same way the short tubing on other masks or the longer CPAP tubing is cleaned.

Wash the parts with warm, soapy water; it can also be rinsed through the swivel connection. Lay the part out to dry naturally.

The mask may also be cleaned in the dishwasher once a week. The non-fabric parts can be washed on the top shelf of the dishwasher and must be air-dried. Please refer to the instructions manual that came with the mask and the instructional video below.

How do I stop my DreamWear full face mask from leaking?

To reduce the risk of air leaks you need to ensure you mask fits correctly, please see the guidance video below.

If a person lays on their side and closes off one side of the tubing, will the mask still provide therapy?

The mask will continue to provide the prescribed therapy. Every other mask on the market operates with one tube running to the cushion, and this mask operates in the same way. No increase in pressure or noise will occur.

With the tubing right next to the ear, will DreamWear Full Face be noisier than other masks?

From a sound level perspective, the DreamWear Full Face mask is a quiet full face mask. However, since the airflow is located closer to the ears with this design and not routing downward in front of the patient, some people may notice the airflow noise more than a traditional mask. For most patients the experience is quiet and comfortable with the unique design offering more freedom of movement. However, since this is such a different design, it may take some people some time to get use to the difference in the noise. It’s not louder, simply different.

There are 3 sizes of frames. How do I choose the right size?

Always start with the medium frame, which is the size included with the FitPack. If the mask is too small, the frame will sit too close to the eyes. If the mask is too big, it will sit too close to the ears. Please refer to the quick start guide or instructions manual for pictures and a thorough description. In most cases, it will be obvious if a different size frame is needed. However, if there are leaks at night or the mask seems to move too much, a different size frame and/or cushion should be tried. If a different size frame is required, it can be purchased separately.

What are the cushion sizes? Does it size the same as DreamWear under the nose nasal cushions?

DreamWear Full Face cushions come in four sizes: small, medium, large, and medium-wide. The full face cushion, while covering both the nose and mouth, is sized based on the nasal opening, just like the under-the-nose cushions. The nasal opening is the exact same design and shape as the DreamWear under the nose cushion which means, there is a direct correlation between DreamWear full face and DreamWear under-the-nose sizing – a medium in the full face is a medium in the nasal, etc. However, the DreamWear full face nasal opening is a different design and shape than the Amara View opening and the two masks size differently. Therefore, there is not a direct correlation between DreamWear full face and Amara View.

Why is it that a person measures one size on the sizing gauge but works better with another size cushion?

The sizing gauge is a guideline to indicate which cushion to start with. However, it is only a guideline and will never be 100% accurate. It is always best to start with the size suggested by the gauge but then fit for comfort if another cushion works better. This is why we recommend the FitPack when trying the DreamWear Full Face for the first time, as all sizes are included to allow you to try them all.
